Product Description

Ceftriaxone Sodium for Injection

Indication
Used for lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract, biliary tract infections caused by sensitive pathogens, as well as abdominal cavity infections, pelvic infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, sepsis, meningitis, and surgical infection prevention. This product can treat simple gonorrhea with a single dose.

Usage and dosage 
Intramuscular injection or intravenous drip administration.
(1) Preparation of intramuscular injection solution: 3.6 ml of sterile water for injection, sodium chloride injection, 5% glucose injection or 1% lidocaine hydrochloride was added to a 1 g bottle to prepare 250 mg of ceftriaxone per 1 ml. The solution.
(2) Preparation of intravenous solution: 9.6 ml of the aforementioned diluent (except lidocaine) was added to a 1 g bottle to prepare a solution containing 100 mg of ceftriaxone per 1 ml, and then 5% glucose injection or chlorination. Sodium injection 100-250ml diluted intravenously.
Adults commonly used intramuscular or intravenous drip, 1 ~ 2g every 24 hours or 0.5 ~ 1g every 12 hours. The highest dose of 4g a day. 7 to 14 days of treatment.
Children commonly used intravenous drip, according to body weight 20 ~ 80mg/kg. Children over 12 years old use adult doses.
The recommended dose for the treatment of gonorrhea is a single intramuscular injection of 0.25g.
Contraindications 
Allergies to cephalosporin antibiotics are contraindicated.
Pharmacology and toxicology
This product is the third generation of cephalosporin antibiotics. Strong activity against Enterobacteriaceae bacteria. The MIC90 for Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Citrobacter falciparum, Eucalyptus spp., Proteus genus, and Serratia is between 0.12 and 0.25 mg/ L between. Enterobacter cloacae, Acinetobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa have poor sensitivity to this product. Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Neisseria meningitidis have a strong antibacterial effect, also has a good effect on hemolytic streptococcus and pneumococcus. The MIC for Staphylococcus aureus is 2 to 4 mg/L. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus and Enterococcus were resistant to this product. Most Bacteroides fragilis is resistant to this product.
